dc.description.abstractThe field mission is being undertaken in line with the previous decisions of the PSC, in which the PSC underscored the need for regular field visits, with the last one having been undertaken in March 2021. Essentially, the purpose of these field missions is to gather first-hand information regarding the situation on the ground, in the context of implementation of the R-ARCSS, with a view to ascertaining the progress made since the signing of the R-ARCSS on 12 September 2018 and the challenges to be addressed so as to better inform the next steps that the AU will have to take.en
