The Peace and Security Council (PSC) of the African Union (AU), at its 39th meeting held on 30 September 2005, adopted a decision on the 4th Brainstorming Retreat of the PSC and other Permanent Representatives to the AU, held in Durban, South Africa, on 4 and 5 September 2005, on the Development of a Framework on Post-Conflict Reconstruction and Development in Africa.
