On the occasion of the 18th Annual Joint Consultative Meeting, the AUPSC and the Members of the UNSC held discussions on the situations in Sudan; the situation in the Sahel and Lake Chad Basin, including countering the threat of terrorism; the Situation in Somalia and the Post-ATMIS Security Arrangements; the situation in the Great Lakes Region: the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC); and on the situation in Central African Republic (CAR).
