Abstract

Among the activities lined up during the month include: Consideration of the Report on the Activities of the Peace and Security Council and the State of Peace and Security in Africa; and the Report on the implementation of the AU Master Roadmap on Practical Steps on Silencing the Guns in Africa; Consideration of the Half Year Report on Elections in Africa: July to December 2022 and outlook for 2023; Consideration of the Revised/Updated PCRD Policy Framework; Consideration and endorsement of the Report on the Activities of the Peace and Security Council and the State of Peace and Security in Africa; and the Report on the implementation of the AU Master Roadmap on Practical Steps on Silencing the Guns in Africa; Joint briefing of the F15/PSC/PRC sub-committee and Board on the Peace Fund on-line; Consideration of the Draft Engagement Mechanism between the PSC and the A3; Inauguration of “Africa Day of Peace and Reconciliation” in line with the Declaration of the 16th Extraordinary Session of the Assembly of the AU among others.
