Abstract
The Peace and Security Council of the African Union (AU), at its 567th meeting, held on 14 January 2016, was briefed by the Commission on the situation in the Central African Republic (CAR). The Council stressed the need to find adapted and coordinated solutions to the general humanitarian situation, particularly the issue of refugees and internally displaced persons and the painful consequences of faith-based and community crises faced by the CAR.
