The Peace and Security Council of the African Union (AU), at its 251st meeting held in Addis Ababa on 4 December 2010, was briefed on the situation in Côte d’Ivoire and efforts of the African Union and other international actors to resolve the crisis that arose over the outcome of the second round of the presidential election held on 28 November 2010.
