Abstract
The PSC adopted its Provisional Programme of Work for August 2022. In August, the Council will be chaired by The Gambia. Among the activities lined up for August include Joint Engagement between the PSC and the PRC Sub-Committee on Human Rights, Democracy and Governance (HRDG); Emerging Technologies and New Media: Impact on Democratic Governance, Peace and Security in Africa; 3rd Annual Consultative Meeting between the PSC and RECs/RMs Policy Organs; Experience Sharing Session between the PSC and AGA Platform Members;12 Consideration and Adoption of the Draft Provisional Programme of Work of the PSC for September 2022; among others.
