Commemoration of the 2023 Africa Amnesty Month for the Surrender and Collection of Illicit Weapons, 11 - 12 September 2023, Maputo, Mozambique.

The commemoration will be an open event of the PSC, under the Chairship of the Republic of Cameroon, with the participation of the Government of Mozambique, SADC, the United Nations, Regional Centre on Small Arms (RECSA) and other relevant stakeholders in Mozambique, including the civil society organizations, youth and women, media, private sector and faith-based organizations. The commemoration is in implementation of the decision of the PSC to bring this activity closer to civilians.
