Provisional Programme of Work of the Peace and Security Council of the African Union for the Month of January 2024. 

Among the activities lined up for AUPSC during the month of January 2024 include Consideration and Endorsement of the Report on the Activities of the Peace and Security Council and the State of Peace and Security in Africa; Consideration of the Half Year Report on Elections in Africa: July to December 2023 and Outlook for 2024 and Consideration of the Report of the Chairperson of the AU Commission on the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) and the renewal of the mandate. All the three meetings will be held at Ambassadorial level. Consideration of the Situation in Sudan is yet to be decided. The CoE will convene a two-day meeting to Consideration of the Report on the Activities of the Peace and Security Council and the State of Peace and Security in Africa. Finally, the PSC will consider and adopt the Monthly Provisional Programme of Work for February 2024.
