Abstract

The Peace and Security Council of the African Union (AU), at its 543rd meeting held on 11 September 2015, adopted decisions on the implementation of the decisions of the 455th meeting of the PSC at the level of Heads of States and Government in Nairobi, Kenya. The Council urged Member States to address the root causes of violent extremism.
