Abstract

Among the activities lined up during the month of March include: Update briefing on the Operations of SADC Mission in Mozambique (SAMIM; Consideration on the situation in Eastern DRC and deployment of SADC Mission in the DRC (SAMIDRC); Women, Peace and Security in Africa; Briefing on the situation in Somalia: Post ATMIS; Informal consultation on the situation in Abyei; and Briefing on the situation in Abyei. The PSC will also convene a three-day UCG forum in Accra, Ghana and a three-day induction programme for the new members in Swakopmund, Namibia. The CoE is also expected to convene a preparatory meeting for UCG Forum and Induction as well as a two day induction programme for its new members. MSC will convene a virtual meeti ng to discuss on its challenges, progress and Way forward.
