dc.description.abstractThe Republic of Mozambique takes over the chairship of the Peace and Security Council (PSC) of the African Union (AU) for the month of October 2021 through its Permanent Representative to the AU, H.E. Ambassador Alfredo Nuvunga. A top level engagement under the Mozambican PSC leadership will be on “Disaster Management in Africa” by Heads of State and Government, earmarked to focus on challenges and perspectives for human security. The Council aims at finding durable solutions to addressing challenges posed by disasters on the Continent.en
