Communiqué adopted by the PSC of the AU, at its 838th meeting held on 9 April 2019 on countering terrorism and violent extremism in the Lake Chad and the Sahel regions: Strengthening AU support to the MNJTF and G5 Sahel Joint Force; and consideration of the renewal of the G5 Sahel Joint Force mandate.
