The Peace and Security Council of the African Union (AU), at its 159th Meeting held on 24 November 2008, adopted the following Communiqué on the implementation process of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) signed between the Government of Sudan (GoS) and the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement/Army (SPLM/A), on 9 January 2005.
