Report of the Peace and Security Council on its activities and the State of Peace and Security in Africa. The Report covers the period from the 25th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the AU, held from 14 to 15 June 2015, in Johannesburg, South Africa, to the 26th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the Union taking place from 30 to 31 January 2016. It comprises three parts, dealing with the following issues: (a) signature and ratification of the PSC Protocol, membership of the PSC and rotating Chair of the PSC; (b) activities carried out by the PSC in the pursuit of its mandate from mid-June 2015 to January 2016; and (c) an overview of the state of peace and security on the continent from mid-June 2015 to January 2016.
