Communiqué of the 593rd Meeting of the Peace and Security Council of the African Union Held on 26 April 2016, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The Peace and Security Council of the African Union (AU), at its 593rd meeting, held on 26 April 2016, adopted a decision to remain actively seized on the Commission’s efforts on post-conflict reconstruction and development (PCRD) in Africa. The Council stressed the importance of reactivating the PSC Sub-Committee on PCRD, to provide the necessary political leadership and oversight on the implementation of PCRD activities throughout the continent.
