Abstract
The Peace and Security Council of the African Union (AU), at its 454th meeting held on 27 August 2014, was briefed by the Commission on the situation in the Central African Republic (CAR). Council also followed the statements made by the representatives of Chad, Chair of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS), the European Union (EU), France and the United Kingdom.
