Abstract
The Council adopted the Declaration of the AU Policy Conference on Promoting the Peace, Security and Development nexus in Africa, referred to as Tangier Declaration. The Council also decided to submit the Tangier Declaration for consideration and endorsement, by the Assembly of the Union at the 36th Ordinary Session of Heads of State and Government to be held in February 2023.
