Provisional Programme of Work of the Peace and Security Council of the African Union for the Month of March 2024.

Among the activities lined up during the month of March include: Informal consultations between the AUPSC and the EUPSC; Update briefing on the Operations of SADC Mission in Mozambique (SAMIM; Consideration on the situation in Eastern DRC and deployment of SADC Mission in the DRC (SAMIDRC); Women, Peace and Security in Africa; Briefing on the situation in Somalia: Post ATMIS; Informal consultation on the situation in Abyei; and Briefing on the situation in Abyei. The PSC will also convene a three-day UCG forum in Accra, Ghana and a three-day induction programme for the new members in Swakopmund, Namibia. The CoE is also expected to convene a preparatory meeting for the induction programme of the new members of the PSC. MSC will convene a physical meeting to discuss on its challenges, progress and Way forward.
