Abstract
The Peace and Security Council (PSC) of the African Union (AU), at its 1047th meeting held on 12 November 2021, on Post Conflict Reconstruction and Development (PCRD) in Africa Underlines the importance of comprehensive disarmament, demobilization and reintegration (DDR) of former combatants, as well as security sector reforms (SSR) and emphasizes the need for availing adequate, predictable and sustainable funding, to this effect.
